Campton is an unconventional typeface based on the first steps of the newly born sans serif genre in the early twentieth century.

Its character draws inspiration from Gill Sans and Johnston Sans while combining it with contemporary elements.

Some characters have oversized serifs, others have very different weights, and some even look inconsistent with the other characters in the set.
